Fiber reinforce plastic grating abbreviated as FRP grating is produced by resin and fibre glass through several special processes. The resin is used as the matrix, and the fibre glasses is used as a kind of reinforced material to increase the tenacity of the grating. Raw materials like resin and fibre glass is the key for the performace of gratings. High grade materials provide superior tenacity and smooth surface while low grade materials lead to poor quality which is easy for fracture and with rough surface. Features:

1. Anti-corrosive: Superior corrosion resistance in the environment of acid, alkali, organic solvent, salt , and other gassy & liquid medium.
2. Light weight: the weight is only 1/4 of steel and only 2/3 of aluminum.
3. High Strenth: its intensity is 10 times higher than HPVC. The absolute intensity is far beyond that of aluminum and steel.
4. Easy for cutting and assembly due to its light weight.
5. Aging resistance: the theoretical service life is over 50 years.
6. Flame retardant: flame propagation rate is below 25 for ordinary flame retardant gratings and below 10 for high grade flame retardant gratings. The Oxygen index is over 28.
7. Safe for use: superior electrical insulating property, free of electromagnetism, anti-slip and anti-fatigue, etc.
